About the FACC

The French-American Chamber of Commerce, is an independent, non-profit, bi-national organization dedicated to fostering and maintaining good economic, commercial, and financial relationships between France and the United States. The FACC is now a subsidiary of the European-American Chamber of Commerce of Cincinnati.

The French-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States, Inc. was founded in New York in 1806. There are 19 chapters in the US, representing more than 4,000 member companies.

The Cincinnati Chapter was created in 2001.

The FACC Cincinnati Chapter became a subsidiary of the European-American Chamber of Commerce of Cincinnati on January 1, 2007.

The FACC acts as an important liaison between the French and American business communities by offering its members various services:

FACC Informs

The FACC provides up-to-date information on the French and Cincinnati economies and the global business environment to facilitate the transfer of technologies and business opportunities between both countries.

FACC Connects

The FACC assists in establishing business contacts through its vast referral services. It also provides a listing of French subsidiaries and corporations throughout Cincinnati to assist both job seekers and employers. The FACC, through the International Career Development Program (ICDP), provides training visas and work authorizations (J-1 visas) to further assist employers and job seekers.

FACC Networks

The FACC helps promote and connect businesses and individuals through its scheduled panel discussions, industry-specific seminars, keynote speaker presentations at various breakfast, luncheon or evening events shared with other European organizations. Other networking activities include a Bastille Day Picnic where members can socialize in an informal setting.

FACC Rewards

Each year, the FACC recognizes the achievements of a major American/French corporation whose significant participation in building and strengthening transatlantic relationship is recognized and honored at the annual French-American gala.

FACC Assists

The FACC strives to facilitate French-American business relations within our region and with France. We organize trade missions to France and receive French businesses who come to Cincinnati.

FACC Translates

The FACC has access to professionals who are able to legally translate any document into any language. This service is beneficial to any business with interntational ties. An estimate will be provided after document submission.
