President’s message

Dear Members,

Welcome to Cincinnati Chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce! Two years after its inception, one year after becoming an Associate Chapter, your FATC has been accepted as a full-fledged Chapter. This is great news, and we will celebrate it on Deecmber 16th. All of the glory goes to you, and the ”pioneers” of our institution, like Gérard Laviec , Pierre Hélias, Tony Graystone, and Mike Cappel who left us before this recognition. It is also a new beginning. The French-American Chamber of Commerce is more than 100 years old. I know that, with your help, our organization will live up to this long tradition, and that we will make the best use of the network to which we now fully belong.

Inserted in this newsletter, you will find the article published in the French newspaper Le Figaro on October 22nd about Cincinnati and the health of the US economy. Could we dream a better way to illustrate our new recognition than having a leading French paper come to Cincinnati to analyze the US economy?

This is the result of the exemplar cooperation between your FACC and the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. It is by being integrated at the same time in the international network of the FACC and within our local community that our organization will develop its strength.
